TradeMutt is a social impact workwear brand, by tradies for tradies. We make funky eye catching work wear designed to start conversations about mental health among the blue collar community, making the invisible impossible to ignore.

Support for the individuals who build Australia

Because behind every regulation, every design, and every build — there’s a person.

House of Stars champions mental health and clarity in compliance across Australia’s building and construction industry — from design to delivery.

We proudly support TIACS and TradeMutt, because in a sector defined by responsibility, regulation, and tight timelines, a moment of support is more than kindness — it’s a valuable peace offering. And building better homes begins with supporting the people who make them possible.

TIACS & TradeMutt: Building Stronger Foundations, Together

TIACS provides free, confidential mental health support for tradespeople, construction workers, and their families — removing the barriers of cost and referrals.

TradeMutt transforms bold, conversation-starting workwear into ongoing funding for TIACS, helping turn job sites into safe spaces to speak up. Together, they’re reshaping the culture of care across the building industry — and we’re proud to champion the extraordinary work they’re doing.

If you or someone you know needs to talk, TIACS provides free, confidential support —

TIACS — Free Mental Health Support for the Industry
TIACS (This Is A Conversation Starter) is a not-for-profit mental health support service offering free, confidential counselling for people working in the trades, construction, rural, and transport sectors — as well as their families. TIACS removes the barriers to getting help.

Ways to get involved:

Building Stronger Foundations, Together
A strong, sustainable building industry begins with the people who shape it.
Supporting those people — through mental health awareness, conversation, and clarity in compliance — is how real progress begins.
Because when the people building the homes are supported, the entire industry becomes stronger.

TradeMutt — Workwear That Starts Conversations

One organisation making an enormous impact is TradeMutt — a social impact workwear brand creating vibrant, eye-catching shirts that spark important conversations about mental health.

These aren’t just work shirts — they’re visual cues that say, “It’s okay to talk.”

Worn on worksites across the country, TradeMutt shirts are designed to break down the stigma surrounding mental health in trades and construction. Each purchase contributes directly to free mental health support for the industry through TIACS.

Let’s Build Homes — Not Barriers

Supporting the Mental Health of the Industry That Builds Australia

Behind every home are the people who make it possible — more than 60 skilled trades and professionals, from builders and electricians to designers, certifiers, and consultants. Each plays a critical role in delivering homes that are comfortable, compliant, and fit for purpose.
Today, those same professionals are navigating a growing set of pressures — rising costs, workforce shortages, regulatory shifts, and increasing complexity in code compliance. These challenges don’t just affect timelines and budgets; they quietly impact wellbeing across the sector.

At House of Stars, we specialise in energy compliance, but our commitment extends beyond reporting.

That’s why we proudly champion the work of TIACS, a free and confidential mental health support service for tradespeople and construction workers, and TradeMutt, whose bold, conversation-starting workwear helps fund that service and shift the culture of silence on job sites.

Together, we are part of a movement — one that recognises the value of the people behind the paperwork, the design, and the build.

Because when we lead with clarity, advocate for mental health, and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our peers, we don’t just build better homes — we build a stronger, more supported industry.
